Talk to the Road Commission today. I have to take it to the State/MDOT since it's a state road that meets a county road. So thats my next stop.

Yes, Thank You Ashley, for acting on this. This accident waiting to happen intersection has taken way too many lives and way too many injured people. It's out of control. John Stone, then shortly there after another and now this last one taking the life of a 4 yr old child in just couple of months. It's true, when you use that intersection often, every time you come upon it, you think of the unnecessary deaths that have occurred there. When you need help, post it !!!

The lady and her daughter are my friends, so is their whole family. Linda and her daughter are the sweetiest people you could ever know. It is heartbreaking and a tragedy that Velta has died from this accident and her mother Linda is in critical condition. Linda's sister called me at 7 am yesterday crying to tell me her niece is dead. There have been to many accidents and deaths at this inter section. I have lived in Cass County all my life and can not count how many times an accident has accrued there. This has to stop and the state needs to do something about this.

Just saw some state police officers down at the intersection surveying the area!

This 5 points intersection is a very dangerous one , the design and lay out can certainly be improved to become better and a whole lot safer. US 12, M 205, and 5 points road all coming together with a hill to the North and blind spots in several directions. One dangerous thing to point out is the almost optical illusion when heading South on 5 Points Road approaching US 12. the way the hill and trees are you cannot even tell you are approaching US 12. although there is a stop ahead sign it does not look like there is a major highway coming up... The blinking caution lights cannot be seen when south bound on 5 points road,,, very easy to overlook and run the stop sign when heading South on 5 points approaching US 12. Come on Road commission, County and State lets get busy and get to work, come up with a better plan and make this a safer intersection as soon as possible.. Tuff Kidder

Something needs to be done. Too many unnecessary injuries and loss of life .
