We, the signed, would like to see a new law making it illegal in the Uk to sell or buy a puppy under 8 weeks old. Not only do puppies need to be with their siblings to learn behaviour etc, It is also detrimental to the learning behaviour, therefore making them less susceptible to staying in a forever home when the new owner cant deal with the behavioural problems once they start...also, for the puppies requirements re: nutrients it needs from the mother for as long as possible.
Other countries have introduced this law to help prevent unwanted puppies being put on the streets due to behaviour problems etc... We think it's about time Our country did the same.
