The school board finally adopted the policy we fought for and our children can return to class without these unnecessary mandates. It has been a long and draining road but seeing this change makes the effort worth it. I am staying vigilant to ensure they honor this commitment.

Mask Freedom and Reasonable Quarantines For Berrien Schools
Final supporters
Berrien County students have suffered long enough. It is time for our schools to respect our parental rights and our children's individual rights. Edwardsburg Public Schools is a nearby school district in a neighboring county. They are not forcing masking nor quarantining healthy students based on exposure in the school. Only sick students are quarantined from school. They are contact tracing and informing parents/students so they can self monitor for symptoms and still attend school as long as the student is symptom-free (regardless of Covid vaccination status).
As parents, grandparents, residents, and tax payers of school districts in Berrien County, we believe that our students deserve the same fair and reasonable treatment. Please follow the lead of Edwardsburg Public Schools and adopt a similar policy regarding Covid measures. Below is the Link to the reasonable Edwardsburg Covid Plan.

The days have been long and progress feels slow but we are nearly at one hundred signatures. Please send this link out to those who want fairness for our children because we cannot afford to lose momentum now.

The constant quarantining is ruining their education. My daughter has been sent home twice already despite being totally fine. Stop the madness.
Enough is enough. These kids need to be in school without all these crazy rules hanging over their heads.
Ridiculous that neighboring districts get to choose but we don't. Give parents a choice!!
About time someone stood up to this. Sick of the overreach in our schools.
My kid is miserable in those things all day. Time to get back to normal and let them breathe.
