Capo Touch for iOS is a FANTASTIC application for the learning musician. While musicians do use the app, the undeclared target audience (and most substantial client base) are music STUDENTS. Professionals don't have as much use for an application which helps them learn songs. Teachers do, but we the teachers are outnumbered by our students up to 40:1 and more!

The brilliant developers at SuperMegaUltraGroovy have been working hard for years to make a great app. They've succeeded. The app was never free, and never should it be free.

For years the app cost $10 for a one-time price. Now, the developers are asking for the trending payment of a subscription price.

There are millions of music students out there. As a teacher, I see 40+ students a week. I work for a school with over 700 students.

I can convince any student to download a free app. I can convince MOST students to download a paid app. I cannot convince a single student nor PARENTS of students to download an app that requires a subscription to use the app.

TO BE CLEAR:

I paid for Capo years ago, so I'm excluded from the subscription service as a gift to previous pay customers. I appreciate that. By that status, I am in no way directly benefiting from this petition.

THIS PETITION IS FOR THE STUDENTS. I want them to have access to a fantastic app that has proven in the past to increase their learning and practice habits.
