Support Plan to Build a Dog Park in West Conshohocken
The Public Property, Open Space, and Recreation Committee is considering a draft master plan for MacKenzie Park. This draft plan includes a fenced-in dog park, an amenity that many residents and their dogs would enjoy. Dog parks provide benefits to the animals, who get valuable exercise and interact with other dogs, and to their owners who are able to not only spend time with their pets, but also with other members of the community. As not all homes have fenced yards, and many do not have the ability to put up a fence, a safe fenced-in dog park would be a valuable addition to the Borough.
At the next Committee meeting at 6:30 p.m. on January 19, the members will review comments received from residents regarding the draft plan, which includes the dog park. It is important that residents who support this addition to the community express that support. If you are unable to attend the meeting, this petition provides a way to share your support for the dog park.
Please consider supporting this effort to further build a strong community! To accurately demonstrate the level of support for the dog park, only current residents should sign this petition. Note your street address in the Comments section.
