This petition is to improve our playground which will only help home values and the look and impression of our neighborhood. We already have 85 signatures out of 140 homes wanting this done. There’s a reason nobody uses the playground. This has come up in conversation with all parents that have young children in the neighborhood It is not maintained. This was brought up a year ago and nothing has been done. To begin, a simple upkeep at a minimum until a full plan to replace the playground is essential.
1. The swings are all covered in some type of sappy sticky substance, melted.
2. Bark is not the right surface for the playground. Its dirt, bark and mud. You take your children to the playground and need to hose them down and clothes have to be spot cleaned. And bitten.
3. The jungle bars are covered in mold.
4. In addition, shade. It doesn’t exist. A sail with 3 poles would solve this.

The bark is a total nightmare. Tired of having to scrub mud off my sons shoes every single time we go. Definitely time for an upgrade!
