In 'Satyameva Jayate', Aamir talks about the killing of unborn girls, or female foeticide, an alarming and frightening reality. It involves the collusion of families, doctors and a social structure that encourages the desire for a boy child - at any cost. The result has been the death of over 3 crore unborn girls since independence and a generation of young men, many amongst whom will find it very tough to get a life partner. http://www.satyamevjayate.in/issue01/ Aamir Requests that the folks all over the world request the Rajasthan government to create a fast track court for a quick resolution and judgement on the cases related to Female Foeticide.

The momentum we have built makes it clear that the Rajasthan government can no longer ignore this blood on their hands. We are forcing them to face the reality of these atrocities while they sit in silence. Keep the pressure on until they drag these criminals into a fast track court.

This is so shameful. We need strict laws or nothing will ever change. Fast track courts are the only way to scare these people.

Finally someone is doing something about this. My heart aches for all those innocent lives lost. Justice needs to be swift and serve as a lesson to everyone involved.
