By signing this petition, we, the parents of children attending the Monomoy Regional School District, respectfully request that the current attendance plan and policy (the “Plan”) be modified. This Plan is significantly more stringent than state statute requires under Massachusetts General Law Part 1 Title XII Chapter 76: School Attendance. This Plan therefore creates an unreasonable burden both on parents and teachers.
