We the students of Georgia Piedmont Technical College (GPTC) have great concerns about the inaccuracy of dates and the disbursement of financial aid funds. The greater community of students has a laundry list of unfavorable experiences encounter through communication with the business office. Because of the inconsistency of dates, untimely disbursement of funds and the overall unacceptable customer service; we are signing this petition in agreement seeking immediate change. We can show supporting documents that other technical college(s) such as Georgia Perimeter and The Atlanta Metropolitan College are providing accurate date(s) and they are disbursing the financial funds to their students as agreed. The students of GPTC are governed and driven by dates and/or deadlines – it should be the principle of GPTC community to serve us well in adhering to all dates promised to their students.
