AlaskaJustice - Senate Bill 180
AlaskaJustice (www.alaskajustice.net) was created to bring justice to Nancy Means (and others) who was falsely accused and arrested for a DUI. Nancy was arrested for a DUI after she refused to give an APD (Anchorage Police Department) Officer her phone number. After, arriving at the Police Station and passing the Breathalyzer Test with a 0.000 test result, a charge still remains on her record. Nancy tried every way possible to esponge this charge internally from her record. When the Municipality refused to assist her, she was forced to sue the Municipality. Nancy is a college student and hopes to attend a competitive graduate school. If she is not granted the justice she deserves from the Municipality, this unfounded charge will continue to prohibit Nancy from being competitive with other college students and will further damage her occupational pursuits.
