The district has confirmed that Jason Beaty will remain as principal at McCall Elementary. This outcome reflects the commitment shown by our community to keep a dedicated educator in our schools. I am grateful that the administration chose to honor the legacy he has built for our students.

We, the undersigned, believe that the resignation letter submitted by Jason Beaty on Thursday, May 25, 2017, should not be accepted by the Aledo ISD administration. Furthermore, we request the renewal of Jason Beaty's AISD contract as principal of McCall Elementary School.

Mr. Beaty was a WONDERFUL principal. Engaged and welcoming to all. The staar test is a joke and I'm sickened that those results would cause our administrations to allow this to happen. Questionable at best! Disappointed to learn this.
As a parent who's child is being transferred to McCall next year I would like some stability in leadership and have heard wonderful things about this principal. Especially when McCall is about to dramatically increase their population.
Mr. Beaty is very caring. When he was the Assistant Principal at Stuard many years ago... you could often see him talking to one of our dear special needs students (Jack Hare) and encouraging him at school. He is thoughtful and sensitive to our children's needs.
Huge loss!! Both my boys went through McCall & Mr Beaty is an outstanding principal who loves the kiddos and all his staff! McCall is a fantastic school & I attribute a lot of its success to his leadership! Very sad to hear of things like this happening to someone so undeserving!
We need Mr Beaty at McCall in an upcoming year of much change. With the redrawing of the elementary school lines, McCall will grow tremendously next year. The last thing we need is a new principal too. Please don't let Mr. Beaty go!!!
Mr. Beaty inspires kids to do their best. He leads students and staff by example. Every school should have a Mr. Beaty and Mrs. Choate!!
By far the best principal we ever had. Not only in Aledo but also Eagle Mountain ISD, where our older daughter went to school.

I was looking forward to my son starting Kindergarten at McCall. I had heard wonderful things about the school, teachers, and the principal. This makes me sad that Aledo would get rid of someone that is held in such high regard among parents and peers.
