July 26th, 2007 We the undersigned would like to let Linden Labs know of our extreme displeasure with the new policy regarding wagering in Second Life. We feel that the decision was not only rash, but far too harsh. We also want to express our total disappointment in Linden Labs for not approaching the situation with more diplomacy. Your lack of regard for the many people who have invested real world currency in Casinos and Casino products is appalling. We believe that any new policies directly affecting the livelihood of our fellow residence should be eased in over time, and that appropriate compensation should be made in the event of major loses. Direct financial losses are not the only concerns. The effect of this new policy will reach farther than you may have anticipated.
