Music is universal. It reaches across boarders and unites people from all walks of life. Music helps people deal with the tragedies, celebrate the joys of their lives. J Rock has inspired many to look outside themselves, to learn about a different culture, to learn a different language in order to better understand the music that speaks to them. Personally, J Rock has forever changed my life, my way of looking at the world, as I know it has done for countless others. What better way to honor the musicians that give so much of themselves Give us one day- to celebrate all they do, to show them what their music means to us.
The stories you have shared regarding how J Rock has influenced your personal growth are truly remarkable. I am currently reaching out to cultural organizations to discuss the formal recognition of this day.

Love this idea. Japanese rock is way better than what they play on the radio here anyway.

Yes! Jrock helped me through high school when nothing else did. We really need more recognition for these bands and the huge impact they have on fans all over the world.
