Following the opaque manner in which FIFA have monopolised world football, I would like to see genuine fans and football federations develop a 32 place invitational world cup to run every four years in direct competition with the current World Cup.
The initial invitation would be open to 32 countries to compete over 4 weeks of competition every four years however as many countries as possible could apply with group games taken place over the next four years.
The applying countries will have one vote on who should host the World Cup. A committee would only be serving to ensure the World Cup was run administratively correctly with a reputable financial company dealing with all financial aspects of the competition.
The rotation of the competition should be by continent and agreed as part of the constitution.
I ask you to sign this petition in the name of fairness and transparency of the "beautiful game" and to put an end to the monopoly and unfairness that has blighted the current FIFA World Cup
The feedback I keep receiving echoes the same frustration that pushed me to start this in the first place. People are tired of the corruption and the secrecy that has taken over the game. I am still working to get the right people to pay attention to these demands because real change remains a long and exhausting process.

Seeing the momentum grow is sobering because it proves I am not the only one exhausted by the corruption of the current system. The path ahead is incredibly long and difficult but knowing others feel this same urgency keeps me moving forward.

About time. FIFA has been a joke for way too long and everyone knows it. Wipe the slate clean and lets actually watch some real football for once.
