Following the opaque manner in which FIFA have monopolised world football, I would like to see genuine fans and football federations develop a 32 place invitational world cup to run every four years in direct competition with the current World Cup. The initial invitation would be open to 32 countries to compete over 4 weeks of competition every four years however as many countries as possible could apply with group games taken place over the next four years. The applying countries will have one vote on who should host the World Cup. A committee would only be serving to ensure the World Cup was run administratively correctly with a reputable financial company dealing with all financial aspects of the competition. The rotation of the competition should be by continent and agreed as part of the constitution. I ask you to sign this petition in the name of fairness and transparency of the "beautiful game" and to put an end to the monopoly and unfairness that has blighted the current FIFA World Cup
