My name is Alessandro Mascia and I have been a shareholder and cooperator, living in Building 8 since 2007. Over the past 16 years Queensview has been a good home for me, my wife Ann and our daughters Lucia and Penelope.
I have served on the Board for the last three years, in the position of Chairperson, and most recently as Secretary to the Corporation. Having learned a lot about the ins and outs of the Cooperative, I have decided to run for a second term, and I am confident that I can be of great help to our community.
Professionally speaking, I am an architect with over 25 years of experience, 23 of which I have spent working in New York City, spanning a wide range of project types from residential to hospitality, business and retail.
I am an Associate Principal at Studios Architecture, a multinational firm with offices in the USA, France and India. I have advanced knowledge of the construction industry, city regulations and project management. Additionally, my work puts me in direct contact with a large network of professionals that could also be a valuable resource to tap into, when further consultation is needed.
I believe that my acumen and technical expertise can be a valuable asset for our community, at a time when it is evident how much the quality of life of the shareholders, and the real estate value of our apartments is impacted by our ability to properly manage and upkeep our built assets.

Congratulation for your decision to run again. With full time job (plus Associate position) and two pre-teenagers in the house it is really a bravery. But also our active enrollment is absolutely necessary. I am your supporter!
