Please join the Amherstburg Dog Park Initiative work toward the goal of providing a location for Amherstburg dog owners to safely and legally exercise and socialize their dogs OFF-leash in the Amherstburg area. This is a non-profit community based group who will develop and support the proposal and conditions that will be presented to the Town so that we may open a dog park.

Consider this an open forum to openly discuss the following but not limited to;
Site location, safety, health, funding (whether private/donation/town), legal requirements/red tape to be expected, site plan, size, amenities, maintenance, operations, signage, security, and administration.

If you know potential donors, problems from past proposals, officials that are interested in making this happen, etc please contact me so that we may get ahead of any expected hurtles.
