Alumni know first hand that there is no ArtCenter without its dedicated faculty, staff, and students. In June of 2022, faculty sent a clear message when they voted overwhelmingly to form a union. While management claimed you would “work in good faith with the union to create the best possible working and learning environment,” your actions prove otherwise. After a year of negotiations, faculty still do not have a first contract. Their requests are basic and long overdue—fair pay, job security, transparency and a say in decisions that affect their livelihood and their students’ learning environment.

The undersigned alumni stand with the ArtCenter Faculty Federation and call on you to do what is right and necessary to keep ArtCenter the outstanding institution that it has been and can continue to be.
