I was just reading back through the comments and honestly it makes me feel better knowing how many people feel the exact same level of disgust about what happened at that event. It is just so strange how some fans think they own these players or their families but I keep drafting letters to the front office anyway just to make sure those folks know we aren't all like that.

Seeing this grow is just wild and it really hits home knowing so many people think that behavior at the charity event was totally unacceptable. It feels like we are finally showing what the actual fan base is about even though I am still so incredibly gutted that this even had to happen in the first place.

I feel so bad for his wife. No one deserves that kind of treatment at a charity event of all places.
THIS IS NOT OKAY. Seriously embarrassed to be part of the same fanbase. Leave his family alone you losers.
Some people have way too much time on there hands. Go home and leave the man alone.
Whatever happens on the field stays there. Bringing family into it is bottom of the barrel stuff. Really low class move by those people.
