The build up of silt and other debris above the 19 Arches is a major threat to our town. If we are unlucky enough to have another heavy rainfall, the entire lower end of the town and Ferrybank area are at serious risk of repeated flooding.

This is a disaster waiting to happen and it has become obvious again that Arklow is the poor relation when it comes to funding for this type of work.
