Ask Croatan to hear the voices of the homeowners in District 11
Croatan Investments (“Croatan”), a multifamily investment manager for private wealth, institutional, and retail capital, acquired Blackwolf Run, the townhome rental community from the Fred Smith Company back in 2021.
Croatan has indicated they will vote no on purchasing the golf course based on the financial impact to the association and if the board is prepared to manage the golf club as a business on behalf of the association. It has been made clear numerous times that they Board will do (and has done) their due diligence in finding a company to manage the golf course, and will have a committee researched all possible best options. Until that time, the Fred Smith Company will manage the golf course for one year.
While Croatan owns the majority of the property in District 11, individual homeowners make up 40% of homes in our district and our voices have a right to be heard. Croatan already has their voice represented in District 10, as those homes/units are all rental property. Let them vote their business sense conscience for District 10, but listen to the will of the residents of District 11.
If you want to reach out directly to Croatan, here's the info.
