At roughly 7:45pm on Wednesday, November 13, the AUC dorms had a fire drill. In the girls' dorms, residents evacuated their rooms as was necessary, yet were not covered and/or in pajamas. Upon walking down the stairs of their respective units, they encountered men waiting for them with cameras, taking pictures of the girls repetitively as they walked toward the Service Point. Girls were not given the opportunity to wait for the fire drill to conclude in the garden area, but instead, still uncovered and exposed, forced to walk out of the dorms and wait in front of the gym.
This kind of action has repercussions outside of the immediate drill. The fact that men, without warning and with cameras, are able to enter the girls' dorms, has the potential to create a feeling of insecurity.
1) Give us a full explanation of what the procedures are for fire drills
2) Explain why there were men with cameras waiting to accost girls by taking pictures of them upon exiting their units
3) Provide a fully detailed report of all steps that will be taken to remedy the situation
