On April 11th, 2007, the radio station, Power 105.1, has outraged many in our community when The Ed Lover Show with Egypt and Ashy played their segment \"Are you smarter than an Asian\". This title alone already screams racism, but it didn\'t end there. In this tasteless segment, a Mr. Hung Lo, speaking broken English with the stereotypical Chinese accent, competed against a listener to answer such a derogatory question:How does an Asian pronounce fried rice To add insult to injury, I hear \"Kung Fu Fighting\" music being played in the background. I\'m not asking anyone to stop their world to come forth and rally; that\'s a little moot and time consuming. Actually, I wouldn\'t do it myself either. I am collecting signatures to show Power 105.1 how many they have offended in our community. I am asking you for 30 seconds to sign this and make an earnest commitment to boycotting the sponsors that support Power 105.1 until we achieve similar results to the issue with Don Imus. Maybe you weren\'t offended by this one incident, but I for one am tired of our culture being subjected to ridicule as if we\'re supposed to accept it. Look at what happened to Star Jones and compare it to Don Imus.
