Hello Sir, I am no different a person. I am a just another 23 year old aspiring to bell the CAT. I take up this concern to project the predicaments faced by the CAT aspirants to the respective authorities. CAT 2009 examination is the issue under the light. The registration process was a issue too. Though,a timely action by IIM Authorities alleviated the pressure on students by resolving the process within no time. I (We) thereby expect the Authorities to help us by resolving the issues related to the exam. We are concerned about the issues like 1. Repitition of Questions 2. Few Examinees getting an undue advantage over others by solving the same questions taking an extra time. 3. Few others suffering from lack of time due to Server glitches. 4. Discussion of Questions among the candidates despite the non-disclosure agreement. 5. Cancellation of Exams at Certain Centres. and much more. We respected CAT more for its outstanding discipline and difficulty to filter out the best amongst us and crown them with admits at the esteemed IIMs. The present scenario has derailed the respect-train and got us into thinking. We do respect the initiative by the Authorities to put the exam to the mark of Internationally conducted exams like GRE,GMAT,TOEFL,etc. Though we do not want to mar the sanctity attached to the exams throughout the years since it started. We humbly request you to reconsider the decisions and rectify the process wherever necessary to provide us with the level of CAT we are used to. Cancellation or postponement of the exam is not the ONLY solution we seek. Please consider this the voice of all the candidates who have signed this petition. Thank You, A CAT Aspirant.
