- Schoolwork should be done at school, not at home. I have decided to create this petition because I believe that homework should be banned from Evergreen for various reasons. If I get 1,000 signatures I will go to the district head and try to change the way of teaching in evergreen. So let’s get to 1,000 signatures!

Lots of research supports eliminating homework. Maybe you should cite evidence in your petition and message to the district. They’ll take it more seriously. Also, 5000 signatures is half the students in the district. GOOD LUCK.
stressed out ..technically we go to school and do school work there then we would go home and do more school work we don’t only have school we also many other activities to do ..i think it’s just dumb and it’s wack.
I can't focus on something such as studying for Social Studies class or a.k.a. History class and have to do homework from a different subject such as Language Arts and that interferes with my studying
It’s not that we don’t like homework but it stresses kids out. Sometimes people even cry over homework. It’s wasting out time to not study for test and do other curriculum. We have other things to do in life not just homework
Homework takes up all of a kids evening and stresses them too much. When we are doing homework we cannot spend other time for activities that encourage other learning opportunities.

We are in school for 6 hours or more. And then coming home to do more work for another 2-3 hours is not fun. I think homework should be banned because your going to school If you really wanted to give the students homework why not just make everybody be homeschooled? Exactly it makes no sense to give out homework if the student is already in class for 6 hours.
