On Sunday 25 Sept. We lost our dear friends Travis Issac & Kareem Smith at Concord Waterfall. Travis worked with yachts and was very strong swimmer, even he couldn't overcome the force of the waterfall. For decades we've lost our love ones due to the dangerous currents at concord. It's clear that it's not suitable for swimming. Let's petition our government to put a ban on swimming at concord.
The stories shared by others who have experienced the danger of these waters reinforce the necessity of our goal. I am currently compiling these accounts to present a clear case to the local authorities about the hidden risks present at the falls.

Seeing this groundswell of support is a sobering reminder of how many families have suffered at this site. This momentum confirms that our community recognizes the urgency of ensuring no more lives are lost to these treacherous currents.

I believe that structures should be erected that would only allow viewing of the waterfall while keeping persons away from the body of water. A no swimming sign would not be sufficient if people aren't aware of the risks and the loss of so many lives over the years.

I've lost my two dear friends at concord waterfall and I don't want to hear that happen to anyone else in the future. The woman in charged said travis and kaream was numbers 8 and 9 to be victims of the concord waterfall. It shouldn't have a 10th I felt the currents myself and struggled for my own life. Concord waterfall is not a safe place and not a place suitable for swimming
