The ringling brothers and barnum and bailey circus has been traveling in the united states ever since 1907 and is still running today! They have taken wild elephants from their homeland in asia and bred them in a special ringling farm in florida that is not open to the public so no one knows the method that is used. They take the babies away from their mothers and beat them and force them to do tricks like lying on stomach, stand on head and balance on one foot. They use long metal rods and electric rods towards the elephants, tigers, and other animals in the show. Many animals have tried to escape and got beaten as a result. One baby elephant drowned and a tiger died form heat, exhaustion and stress.
