Hi, we’re year 4 students from Woodcroft Primary. We would love to help the bananas because if bananas are too small, too big, too fat and even to ugly they are thrown out.

Did you know 40,000 bananas are thrown out each day that is a lot of bananas!!!!

We need to get 100,000 signatures to help the environment and wastage of bananas.

Bananas are Australia’s number one selling supermarket product.

We found out what happens to the bananas that aren’t up to supermarket specifications.

At the farms the bananas are picked in big bunches and then they look at them carefully to see if they are too big, too small, too fat, and even to ugly!!!!

If you sign our banana farm petition it may help us to save the bananas!
