Dear Bandai Namco,

We represent some of your customers on the PC platform Steam. We would like to request the removal of the Denuvo DRM in the games we have purchased and some that we wish to purchase. You have not used Denuvo since Code Vein back on September 26 2019, close to 5 years now, so it’s clear that you no longer wish to use it. The problem is that you have 7 of your games that still have Denuvo:

1&2- GOD EATER 2 Rage Burst which is bundled with GOD EATER Resurrection
3- Tales of Berseria
4- DRAGON BALL FighterZ
5- Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet
6- New Gundam Breaker
7- CODE VEIN

Putting aside the fact that some titles perform poorly because of Denuvo, the main issue is that this DRM tries to authenticate with Denuvo’s servers every two weeks or so. The day that Denuvo’s parent company shuts down that division or the authentication servers for that version of Denuvo gets turned off, those titles of yours will no longer be playable within a few weeks.

The people signing this petition will leave you their Steam account ID, username and the games published by you that still have Denuvo that they own and/or the ones they wish to purchase. You will eventually be provided with a document showing you all of this.
