Why should the entire student body face the consequences of a few students' actions? Why should seniors be deprived of their final homecoming dance? Why should football players, who have worked hard all season, miss out on this celebration? How is this fair to everyone?
As students of Bangor High School, we have created this petition to advocate for the reinstatement of our homecoming dance. The actions of a few students should not dictate whether or not the entire school has the opportunity to attend this important event. Seniors, in particular, should not be penalized in their final year due to the misconduct of others.
We believe this decision is unfair to the majority of students who were not involved in the actions that led to the cancellation.
I am urging parents and students to please support this petition and encourage Bangor High School administrators to reconsider their decision. Rather than punishing the entire school, we ask that only those directly responsible for the misbehavior face consequences.

Why punish 3 more grades, dozens and dozens more students, for the acts of the freshmen class? Ban the freshmen and let the others have their dance. This is a last for seniors, important to many……
This isn't right. Make a list of who can't go and send a letter to the parents/ guardians of those students saying that they can't go because of there actions.
I am a graduate of Bangor high, seeing things like this happen hurts my soul. We have so many traditions being taken away these days, let’s not have this be one of them.
Unacceptable! Children that "did such actions to take this away from everyone". No the school choose to do this. im sure they learned by now what not to do and don't. School is about learning right? We do not learn,and shut down. We learn,and moved forward,and DO BETTER! Where is the education/life lessons/positivity from the school. Sad. Give theses young adults what they have worked hard for. I stand with the student's and parents of class of 2025.
Be it one class, or a few kids, should never be able to ruin homecoming for the whole school.
I do t go to the school but ik id be pissed tf off if my senior year hoco was canceled cause of some freshman!

I’d like to learn more about what happened. However as a parent I’m not in support of such collective punishment as a means of education or student management
