The administration confirmed that the pep rally is officially back on the schedule. We secured this result by demonstrating a collective commitment to meet their conduct requirements. Please hold to those standards so we can ensure the event proceeds without further disruption.
Hello fellow classmates of Bay Path!
Due to lack of following administrations regulations and school rules such as, headphones, hats, food and drinks and foul language in the hallways, the administration has decided we do not have enough responsibility to act appropriately at a pep rally. If we can all agree to act mature enough for this fun school event and we can gather enough student support, we may be able to overturn to administrations decision for no spirit week and pep rally.
By signing this petition, as a Bay Path RVTHS student, you are agreeing to abide by administrations rules of acting mature at a pep rally, dress appropriate during spirit week and set an example for younger students in the hallways. If this commitment is broken, then there will be consequences to your actions. This meant for our enjoyment, let’s have fun and not ruin our high school experience!
Thank you very much!
Have fun and remember to respect your staff!
(This is open for all BP students to sign)
The administration has acknowledged the current level of engagement from the student body. I am preparing a formal proposal for a meeting with the principal to discuss the conditions under which the event can be reinstated.

We are approaching two hundred fifty signatures which is the threshold required to request a formal meeting with the administration. I am currently drafting a letter that outlines our commitment to school rules in exchange for reinstating the pep rally. Please direct other students to this page to finalize our count before I submit the documentation.

Our seniors didn’t cause the problem at the last pep rally Bay Path held so why should they be punished?

I believe the students at bay path should be allowed to have a pep rally. It’s sad to see that students at bay path are not experiencing school spirit activities. It was very different when I went to bay path . The previous students that caused previously caused conflict could have simply been excluded. They are not at the school anymore so I believe the rest of the students that attend bay path deserve a pep rally. It shouldn’t take so much just to have something that all other schools openly have.

I feel no one student should ruin school spirit for the rest of us. It is bad enough that we don’t have a band to play at football games or a drama program that puts on ACTUAL PRODUCTIONS.

I think it would be a great to finally have a pep rally! I definitely thing the classes deserve it and it would be a great way to relax after the non stop hard work!
