According to BBC America, the HD channel has seen its distribution jump by almost 50 percent since April 2011. Cablevision, Comcast, Cox, Dish Network, Time Warner Cable and several smaller cable ops now carry BBC America HD; and the high-def channel is available on cable systems in all top 10 markets. So WHY doesn't DirecTV carry it?

Apparently only Doctor Who knows!
