This petition is to introduce a bill into North Carolina legislature creating a database and website consisting of all Domestic Violence Abuser Convictions. This will include conviction and arrest records along with pictures of the abuser. The long term goal is to become Federal law and make mandatory registration of convicted domestic violence abusers in every county in the United States the same as sexual predator registration. Domestic Violence is a serious issue today and is going to become even more common as times and economy changes. Stop the violence loud and strong by raising awareness and holding those accountable for not only the abuse of victims but also to help prevent future abuse and murders. Every 4 seconds someone is battered or killed due to domestic violence.
