Back in 2005 there were approx 990 injuries because of the careless use of fireworks within the UK, and thousands of animals were also injured, most of the time this is intentional and it i not right, Ban Fireworks UK do not wish to take the fun away from November 5th, just make the night more enjoyable by only allowing them to be used at organised displays.
Please join us with this task and help us get a result!
You can visit http://www.BanFireworksUK.blogspot.com for up-to-date information on our progress.
The increase in support has triggered a formal review request with the relevant government department. I am currently drafting the official documentation to submit alongside this data to ensure our proposal for display-only regulations remains the primary focus.

People don't realise that animals suffer, some may even die from result of fireworks, financial costs to getting all the calming gadgets/supplements and then there is the stress to the owners as well. This needs to stop

Sale of Fireworks to the public is both irresponsible and dangerous. It terrifies domestic pets and wildlife.

My poor cat hides under the bed for weeks every year because of these explosions. It is completely unfair that people can just set them off in their back gardens whenever they feel like it.
