The proposed housing development at Bird-in-eye North and Bird-in-eye South near Framfield road in Uckfield, East Sussex should NOT go ahead. Too much of our open land is being sold on for housing at the expense of our wildlife, health and landscape. Such a development will create traffic congestion with restricted parking for existing residents and generally more vehicles in the area. It will also destroy yet more of the beautiful open land that makes Uckfield such a pleasurable place to live in. Wealden council should be more concerned with the environment than filling their pockets. Action must be taken to ensure that this development doesn\'t happen.
