World of Warcraft has over 7 million subscribers worldwide. About half of these can be categorized as psychologically addicted. Men, women and even children are stuck playing this game for over 24 hours consecutively. Families are falling apart, people are losing jobs, dropping out of college and losing their lives because of this addiction. This game is single-handedly destroying America\'s youth. That is why i have proposed that Blizzard put a play time cap on World of Warcraft and Burning Crusade. Allowing families to grow back together, people to actually work, or do their homework. This cap would allow users to play for a maximum of three consecutive hours within a 10 hour period. After three hours, their account will be frozen. This is not a joke, World of Warcraft has become known to some as "World of WarCrack" and will soon be just as much of an addiction problem to the youth as are drugs or alcohol. There is already a support site for people who feel they need to be freed from this addiction, and hopefully with this petition, Blizzard will consider looking into beneficial ways to reduce the playing time of their customers so they do not destroy lives and relationships.
