It has come to our attention that there are plans underway for Negril to potentially acquire an international airport. If this endeavor comes to fruition, we believe it presents a unique opportunity to pay homage to one of Jamaica's most iconic figures. Therefore, we respectfully propose that the airport be named the Bob Marley International Airport, as a small yet significant gesture of gratitude to this legendary figure who has undeniably placed Jamaica on the global map.

We, the undersigned, call upon the esteemed Government of Jamaica to consider naming the forthcoming airport in honor of Robert Nesta Marley.

Bob Marley has been a beacon of inspiration and leadership in the global Jamaican community for his tireless efforts in community development, tourism promotion, and environmental conservation.
