Hello friends! My name is Nick Borden-Sanford and I am running to be our 3L Class Vice President for the 2023-2024 school year.

Being a law student has been a dream come true in my hometown of Detroit. Over the years I have made incredible connections and lifelong friends at the law school. I have had the pleasure of being admitted into the JD/MBA program where each semester I have been both a business student and a law student. As a law student, I have the pleasure of being a member of the fantastic student organizations of the Black Law Students Association, Hispanics in Law Association, and Business Law Society.

When I am not in the classroom, I work as an asset manager for a real estate investment firm. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Michigan State University where I studied economics. As a student at MSU, I was a member of the Student Investment Association where I was my team's leader in pitching energy stocks to our university's investment fund. This position allowed me to use my critical thinking and research skills where I was able to present my ideas to our association's executive board.

With my experience, I believe that I will be an amazing leader for our class as 3L Vice President. I look forward to seeing my class in the courtroom someday. Thank you for your consideration.
