Walmart and Monsanto are two large corporations whose public policy run contrary to the well being of local economies and the environment. The partnering of these two powerful corporations with the introduction of Monsanto GMO sweet corn now being sold in Walmart stores brings home the immediate threat these two 'profit at any cost' companies pose to our health. It's time for the consumer to respond by boycotting Walmart stores. I, the undersign, understand this may represent some inconvenience and even money by choosing to buy goods elsewhere (preferably a local business) but enough is enough, and in this simple and constructive way, I will now take a stand and sign this pledge to boycott making any purchases at Walmart until this unholy alliance is annulled.
