We, the undersigned, oppose breaking up the Braeburn community. The proposed redistricting will remove 82 children from the school they know and love. This will harm the entire Braeburn community. We believe that there are many other options that should be taken before the option most damaging to our children is chosen. We implore the West Hartford Board of Education to abandon the proposed redistricting and seriously and thoughtfully explore other options. We would like to be involved in the decision making process since the outcome could drastically affect our school.
