Brian Harvey deserves a new trial. His recent trial in Florida was an atrocity. A perfect example of just how broken our criminal justice system truly is. By signing this petition, you are agreeing that Brian deserves a new trial and that justice did not prevail in his case. The reasons will be explained below. Brian Harvey is not a monster. He is not a killer, a murderer or a low-life of society. He is a smart, well educated and well-liked handsome, artistic young man full of compassion, warmth and good heartedness. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time when a friend of his was killed in August of 2006. Subsequently, Brian was sentenced to life in prison at barely 19 years of age. Florida has a law called the Felony Murder Law that allowed Brian to be charged with his friend
