Brightwater Homeowners

As the owners and residents living in the Brightwater neighborhood, this petition is being sent to the homeowners property management as a show of solidarity of our frustration and displeasure with the management of our neighborhood. Our main concerns are
1. Neighborhood is nearing completion. Builders have received their proceeds, yet our limited amenities that we were promised in our contracts have yet to be completed as in dog park and tot lot.
2. Gates have been broken since the hurricane and we are still waiting for repairs.
3. FEMA has rezoned the neighborhood stating that most residents now require flood insurance. This neighborhood is less than 3 years old and did not incur any flooding during that the hurricane. The management company has been notified requesting assistance and we keep being told they are waiting for an update but the company they said they are working with is saying that the management company has not contacted them. Who should the residents believe?
4. At this point the residents have no confidence in the Breeze management company and are signing this petition to show our solidarity of displeasure

I have been hearing from so many of you about these ongoing issues with our gates and the missing amenities. It is clear that we are all on the same page regarding the lack of transparency from the management team. Please know that I am doing my best to track down actual answers while you continue to show that we are not alone in this.

We’ve lived in this “gated” community for almost a year and I’ve NEVER used the gate clicker. Not once. Because they are never closed or working. Where are the tot lot and dog park? It’s absolutely ridiculous that these amenities aren’t complete and the developer has no plan to start them. They should build those FIRST so residents can enjoy something while the neighborhood is expanding. Don’t make us wait 3 years. We are the red-headed step child to Metro Places and Breeze, clearly not a priority, I guess because we don’t have a Moffitt Cancer Center or a school.
The HOA is awful, plain and simple. They literally could not care any less about our development. The gates we have have been broken since the hurricane and when they did work, they were slow and decrepit at best. When we complain, we get emails about “having patience” with a bunch of stupid emojis. Totally unprofessional.
so disappointed with this management company. so many unkept promises. it’s been 3 yrs and still no amenities.
Very disappointed that Brightwater is a very big disappointment. We chose to move into a resort community. We have none of the amenities promised to us.
The management has found time to send petty compliance notices but does not move on taking care of its responsibilities. Pool progress finally exists but when it will be completed is anyones guess.
Management company is just following examples of our current government,
Lack of communication from breeze on every issue brought to their attention.

Gate is an eyesore. It has been this way for 5 months, and didn’t work properly before that, street signs down, stop signs down. . Very dangerous. Should have speed limit signs, straighten light posts from Hurricane. Bridge and tower look dilapidated and is in disrepair. Tower looks cheap and needs paint, attractive signage. Bridge needs boards repaired, and stained. Why are we paying for amenities we don’t have? Lagoon’s is taking forever. This is all UNACCEPTABLE.
