Renew 'Awake' for another season
It stars Jason Isaacs as Michael Britten, a police detective. After a car accident takes the life of a family member, he lives two alternating parallel lives, one with his wife and one with his son. In each reach reality, he works different cases that are somehow tied together in seemingly meaningless ways. Now you see, it's only partway through it's first season, and it's already been cancelled. It's been highly acclaimed (even with an 8.8/10 on IMDb), yet it's being cut short while other mediocre shows survive. It's an extremely original show that hasn't got a lot of attention simply because it's not some slapstick comedy or reality show. It has a lot of depth, and shouldn't be abandoned just because it's a little too complex for the casual TV-watchers. It's barely had a chance to establish a place among the high-caliber programs, and it should at least get a second season to show how much it has to offer.
