Bring back One World Week at Warwick for year 2016-17
One World Week at Warwick was a week-long celebration of culture on campus. Comprising a host of events, such as the annual Fashion Show, a range of Forums, Sports events, ‘Warwick’s Got Talent’ and a host of Society performances, One World Week aimed to showcase the best of what Warwick has to offer. After three decades, One World Week has been discontinued, as it is thought that due to many separate society events, there is no need for the cultural week. However, many in Warwick still feel that this week is needed, so what we are asking for is One World Week or even a Day which would involve the Fashion Show and performances. A week like this is so important to provide a platform for these societies, but also to create less division between the different cultural societies and moreover to enjoy. Please support us!
