On saturday, March 31st through the early morning of Sunday, April 1st, Adult Swim briefly ran a segment of Toonami allowing us to relive those nostalgic memories that it provided. Cartoon Network (Adult Swim) did this with intentions of an April Fools joke, but the reaction was far from it. Within the first hour of Toonami being broadcasted, Toonami had become a trending topic on Twitter worldwide as well as the different shows that were being shown at the moment. (ex. #dragonballz #gundamwing) It is clear, that the world got a taste of something that brought out the kid in us again which leads us to say, we want Toonami back. I believe that Adult Swim should change their Saturday schedules and replace them with Toonami!
