I enjoy my life, I really do. But some things I enjoy much more than others.

I enjoy the legendary, endless buffet featuring an abundant variety of delicious familiar favorites and continuous new menu offerings at Golden Corral restaurants.

I also enjoy seeing the Ohio Bobcats play intercollegiate athletics at the bucolic campus in Athens, Ohio.

And, currently, I can not do those things concurrently. Sure, there are locations in Gallipolis or Chillicothe, which are a reasonable drive from both my home and the Athens metroplex. And sure, the trip planner on Golden Corral's website is convenient. But it's not an easy day to get to gameday then haul the family to a Golden Corral for good food and the homespun kid-friendly brand of Jeff Foxworthy's humor; especially in the age of flexible scheduling for broadcast television windows.

Please join my petition for Golden Corral to build or renovate a restaurant in Athens, Ohio. It will improve the quality of life for thousands of people!
