Vatican Wars was one of the best and most interesting apps on Facebook. It was unique because it was Catholic themed, and allowed the player to hold various offices in the Church such as Priest, Bishop, Cardinal, and even Pope. You leveled up by completing various missions and engaging other players in theological debates. This generated experience points and money. With the money, you could buy properties which increased your income. Unfortunately, at the end of 2012, Vatican Wars was discontinued. Many of us really enjoyed this app, and were quite sad to see it go. We feel that this was a great app, both because it was fun, and it was quite nice to have an app with a Catholic Christian theme on Facebook. While Vatican Wars was discontinued, the same company that created it created a new game called Witchcraft, which is still on Facebook to this day. If there is a witchcraft themed game, there should certainly still be a game representing Catholic Christianity as well.
