Stafford County is in dire need of a new elementary school and we need it now. The overcrowding of schools and associated traffic in Garrisonville District is doing a disservice to our students and Stafford families.

We request the Stafford Board of County Supervisors to immediately approve the expedited construction of a new elementary school to ease overcrowding. Additionally, we request the new elementary school be located outside Garrisonville District to ensure students from other parts of Stafford are able to attend schools closer to their own homes, thereby reducing the overcrowding at the existing elementary schools in Garrisonville District, reducing school related traffic in Garrisonville, and providing shorter commutes for Stafford students.
