Dear Ms. Hughes,
A number of us recently attended a local screening of a film by the Israeli film maker Omri Lior, of his film about Aharon Megged. We thoroughly enjoyed the film, as well as Omri’s speaking before and after the film about his process of getting to know this author, and of making the film. We think that Omri’s work is important in preserving the stories of famous Israeli authors and poets, as well as giving us views of early life in the State of Israel. Omri is an interesting and engaging speaker.
We know that Omri’s film “Call Me Boolie”, about A.B.Yehoshua, is being considered to be shown at the Boston Jewish Film Festival this Fall. We hope that his film is accepted into the Festival. We think it would be a valuable offering. We would be eager to come and view the film “Call Me Boolie”, and we think having Omri come and speak to us in person about his process would be an experience that many people would enjoy.

Diane Cohen United States, Waltham Omri is a fascinating and personable presenter, and his work is beautifully and sensitively done. Any film of his would be a valuable addition the the Film Festival.
I saw the film about Nidaa Khouri and found it very interesting. I would like to see "Call Me Boolie" at the Boston Jewish Film Festival this Fall.
I love this film and would like to see him in this festival!

I think Omri's work deserves support for two reasons. 1. it is excellent and 2. the subject matter isn't just about authors, but about their environment which ends up being a mini history lesson. I would love to see more of his work.
