Over a three day period I share my Birthday with my Son-In-Law and my youngest Granddaughter. This year I am told that my daughter will be baking just one Birthday cake for all three of us to share. Quite how this will work is beyond my comprehension as for a start my 64 candles will completely dwarf my Granddaughters 1. I believe that 'sharing' removes the personal accolade normally afforded by a birthday cake. Accordingly I am seeking the support of others to persuade my daughter to return to a policy of one cake per birthday celebrant.
