The Iemma Government finally buckled and called for a Royal Commission into DOCS. This victory belongs to every one of you who refused to let them ignore the suffering of vulnerable children. We forced their hand, but rest assured we are going to watch every step of this inquiry to …
Today The Daily Telegraph takes a stand on behalf of all children whose lives are being put at risk by the inaction of the NSW Department of Community Services.
We are calling for a Royal Commission into the organisation in a bid to finally end the shameful legacy that has resulted in one child known to DOCS dying every three days.
Join our campaign to protect the most vulnerable in our community by adding your name to our petition.
Together we can force the Iemma Government to address DOCs\' incompetence.

The momentum behind this push is proof that the public is done watching the Iemma Government ignore the fatal incompetence at DOCS. We have crossed a major threshold and it is clear that people are furious enough to demand a Royal Commission right now.

Some caseworkers should not be working at docs at all, not listening at all and certainly not being supportive or returning telephone calls, answering questions etc. No wonder children are falling through the cracks.

Assumption, with no follow up, and the only evidence to support my innocence was destroyed according to the courts.. Why destroy evidence before testing it?? I now have a DYING baby in care, my eldest is "thank god" now out of care but is also VERY scarred by the way they go about their "stealing" of kids. Based solely on here say

Not just DOCS, but all welfare agencies in Australia, instead of tearing families apart, how about they offer the support that some families need to keep their kids home

A royal commission is long overdue into the corruption of this department who have unregistered caseworkers with more power then any other profession accountable to no one tearing families apart and not providing any help or support

I have witnessed the utter disrespect of Children and their families by this Hostile, Toxic and Corrupt Department. I was shocked and appalled by the unethical and immoral attitude of this Department, where support and assistance for families in need of Community Services DOES NOT EXIST.
